Been Busy
I’ve been busy with lots of projects on needles.
I’ve never made anything for my husband before. We’ll be spending Thanksgiving in Tahoe and he asked me if I could make him a cap for our trip. Anxious to make something that I know he’ll wear I’ve just about completed this cap for him…
I recently received a new shipment of yarn with all sorts of great colors. I also made this little cap that is available in my shop right now…
I have a few more things on needles I need to take pictures of.
I’ve also been busy with family. This weekend we went on a geocaching adventure and found a spot in our city that I didn’t even know existed…
And lastly, we picked out all our pumpkins in anticipation of Halloween Night. I even found a two headed pumpkin that right now looks like a big pumpkin butt! LOL

Another Color
The past two days have been a little more hectic than usual. My husband has been out of town for the past two days, my youngest has had a whopper of a head cold and my oldest has been having a hard time at school (missing mama). I still have had time to work on another Baby As Art wrap in one of my favorite colors, Bark…
We all picked up my husband from the airport tonight. We celebrated our reunion with In-N-Out for dinner. It was a good night.

Testing
Recently, Raye Law posted some beautiful twin shots on Flickr. I was admiring the beauty of her work and then my eyes zoned in on the blanket wrapped around the babes. I can’t help always seeing different patterns in knitting. I love change and working on different projects. I decided to see if I could knit the same pattern.
I started out with this pattern….
Unfortunately, I had put my work down for a second and my youngest decided to “help” me by pulling out the needles and making her own adjustments. This is one of the reasons that I work at night. It’s hard to get anything done during the day with my two youngest tag teaming me 
After that mishap I decided to try a different pattern. I think I like this one more than the first…
Next project, another Baby As Art wrap in a different color….

Holidays
