Today is a day to celebrate love and I thought I would share the love with a give away. My web developer is working hard on making the By the Moonlight Creations site a little more pretty right now. We’re adding more products, more product information and a blog so you can see what I’m busy making on a regular basis. While we wait for these changes, how about an opportunity to win a prize?

One Thousand
My Facebook Fanpage has reached 1000 “likes” and that really makes me smile. Thank you everybody for taking the time to visit my little space on the internet. It means so much to me. I think that this occasion calls for a Give Away!
I’m horrible at making choices so, instead of trying to figure out what someone would like to win, I thought I would make this a “people’s choice”. Slowing Down
I’ve been dealing with some health issues lately that have been slowing me down quite a bit. Nothing serious or life threatening. Just enough of an issue to slow me down a bit. I fatigue easily and have been dealing with a lot of nausea, a side effect of the medicine I need to take.
I’m sharing this information because I’ve fallen behind in email and correspondence and I thought I owed an explanation as to why this is the case. I didn’t want to leave anyone in the dark.
With Summer approaching, I will be slowing down production as I take mini vacations. I’ll be stocking my shop as I can. I’ll also be completing custom orders that I have already received. I can slowly take on more custom orders, but I won’t be able to commit to any deadlines and the wait time could be longer than usual. If you’re OK with those parameters, I would be happy to work on making more items.

Catching Up
Since I started my Facebook Page I’ve been really busy. I wanted to say Thank You to everyone for all the support and kind words.
I’ve received a lot of requests for orders in the past week and I’m trying to answer all of my emails in a timely manner. I have found myself trying to balance time between answering emails and actually making the pieces that are being requested. If you have sent me email with a request for a product, I will be in touch soon.

Making Time
Chemo Cap modeled by my daughter, Emily.
One of my goals for this year is to make and donate items to people in need. Newborn caps to hospitals, blankets to babies/children in need, Chemo caps for children and adults.
Just when I was thinking that maybe I don’t have enough time for such a venture, I received this message from someone I recently sent a Chemo cap to…
“Jennifer! I got the Chemo Hat in the mail today! I Love it! I was going to take a picture of it on me but I am not looking at my best these days! My Daughter said, see (name withheld) there are still good people in the world, and she is so right Jennifer you are one in a million! Thank you! May God Bless You and Yours!…”
This message made me so very happy and I feel it was an even bigger message for me to hear. I need to make the time for those in need. I know that my contributions will not be on a grand scale, but doesn’t every little bit help?
